Madhav Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. is an agro processing and export industry based in the state of Gujarat since the last three decades.

Established in 1983, the company is situated in the green belt of Padra District near Vadodara, where fresh fruits and vegetables are available in abundance. The company manufactures ethnic Indian products like Pickles, Cooking and Curried Pastes, Chutneys etc. and exports them to U.S.A., Canada, Australia, UK and other European countries under various private labels. The company’s home brand ‘Pasand’ is famous in Western India and is poised to expand its market coverage further in the coming years.

The objective is to make available the taste of home-made Pickles, Pastes and Chutneys to the Indian community worldwide. The traditional art of making pickles has been converted into a modern scientific process, whereby manufacturing is mechanized, reducing human interface and handling of the products. The motto is to serve the customers with manufacturing practices that recognize the importance of Safety, Hygiene, Quality and Timely Delivery, in addition to flavour and taste.

The company converted from Proprietorship to Private Limited in 2003. Working with a scientific approach has helped the company achieve organic growth, enabling it to withstand challenge and change from diverse directions and emerge triumphant and successful. The team has come a long way after starting in a single room with meagre resources. It now holds a portfolio of over numerous gourmet products and recipes, with a major share in the export of Gujarati and Indian pickles, along with other products. The proven experience in the food sector has enabled the company to further expand into new products like Natural Syrups, Sauces, Ready-to-Eat products etc.

The company first received ISO 9000 certification in 2001 and HACCP certification in 2004. It is proud to be one of the few companies in India holding these certifications since 2 decades. Currently it is an ISO 22000 unit, USFDA inspected thrice, EIA approved and implements GMP in all its process as a reliable and trusted food business operator.

The founder and promoter of the firm, Chandresh Shah, is a Food Technologist from U.K. and is credited to be involved in and establishing many small, medium and large food processing projects in the Vadodara district directly or indirectly. He is active in the field of Food and Agro-processing and is attached with academics, Industry and Policy-making. He is a member of CII, FGI and EXIM (Export/Import) club of Vadodara.

The company established another manufacturing unit in Vadodara near Karjan in the year 2018, to improve its capacity and infrastructure and truly transform it into a comprehensive food and beverages producer with high standards of manufacturing and excellence in logistics, network and delivery systems.

In the future too, with knowhow, skills and proven experience, the company aims to lead the Indian processed food industry with a diverse portfolio of quality food products, in the branded FMCG retail segment, through various strategic alliances, innovations, product development and expansion of trade channels.
